Chico responded very quickly to an inquiry about a difficult job involving the removal of several large branches of a cedar elm tree that had fallen on our roof. He assessed the job, carefully explained the technical issues and how he was going to do it, gave a very fair price, and was able to come out with his crew the following week. The challenging work involved some careful planning and maneuvering which Chico and his crew pulled off beautifully. They cleaned up all the fallen branches and limbs, evened off the main trunk, and, in general, gave us great confidence that they knew what they were doing every step along the way -- they'll be our choice next time we need tree work done.

Trying to keep it short, ends up long because he was aggressively passive in his response. Chico showed up Thursday before memorial day, did a great job getting a huge tree to the ground, great job. Was stung by a bee and then left the entire tree on my lawn, fine bee sting, go home please...oh, after I had paid him cash. I had no access to my house so I moved 2 heavy 10 foot logs on my own to be able to get in on the same day, same day he said that he saw bees, so I by myself made my house safe no problem Chico showed up next day and did no clean up, so I did it all myself. Then another day goes by and he does no work, so I cleaned up even more!!. Then he leaves till tuesday to Houston for the long weekend, really!!!! I'm stuck with dead grass and tree debris everywhere for now. He got the 2nd star because we had a great relationship prior and I thought he was a great guy. He has made ZERO apologies and has only been argumentative towards me, so much that I fee threatened. Later in the day...Just discovered he also tore down a shrub in the front when he cut my tree down. Maybe he just did it as he was giving me my refund out of spite. Wow. the whole point is why was I able to do all this work on the same day? I'm allergic to bees. I went out and moved everything myself. Chico just left it so he could go out of town. Bees are gone. Edit: Just went and fixed my chainsaw and sawed right through the hive. This kid chico just doesnt like work. He skipped out for the holiday and I just proved it, no bees at all. Check the photos out, I just did it all myself, ruined my holiday and all my neighbors, but it was an easy tasks. If anyone needs cheap tree service, give me a shout

We have worked with Chico over the past couple of years on tree recoveries. Chico and his crew are some of the hardest working in the business. Every time we've worked with them I've been impressed with their professionalism and hard work ethic. Would highly recommend!

They did an excellent job of trimming our 20+ trees. We reviewed what needed to be done on each tree and they made recommendations on other useful cuts. The area looks much better with all of the excess growth removed and the branches raised off the driveway and thinned over the lawn.

Called Chico in the morning for an emergency when a tree fell onto the roof of our business. He was there later that day and they knocked it out for us quick and clean! He helped us get in touch with the neighbor condo complex and informed them of what was happening and recommended what they should do afterwards. Professional, courteous, etc. glad I stumbled across his name, we highly recommend Chico, and we will be using him again in the future! Thanks Chico!

I found Chico's Tree service, because their crew was trimming my neighbor's trees. I chatted with Raf, the owner, and walked through my property. He's very knowledgable and provided me with a very fair and timely bid. 3 days later, his crew showed up, completed all the work. I had 3 massive trees fully trimmed to allow more light in for the grass and a large tallow removed. Everything was cleaned up before the crew left...very friendly guys. Quality was fantastic too. I can't recommend these guys enough. He will definitely be my "go to" for tree service going forward!

From initial contact through the completion of the project, Chico was probably one of the most knowledgeable and easiest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with as a home owner. On top of that, he was nice to talk to, prompt, professional and fair. I needed my trees trimmed back and he and his crew were careful, time efficient and cleaned up afterward. I trust and highly recommend this company to do anything they say they can do because I’m confident Chico wouldn’t sign up to do something he wasn’t capable of.

Above and beyond professional service! Although my Fathers lot proved challenging, Chico remained calm and carried on through water line breaks and thousands of disturbed bees and a freeze that caused him some trouble and a delivery truck that lost its brakes! Chico did a “honey” of a job!

Can't recommend enough. Chico did an amazing job trimming up a couple of large trees in our yard as well as giving some good advice regarding their upkeep. He also did a great job installing (and removing) Christmas lights and assorted decorations from my home. Thanks again for all your hard work and we look forward to working with you again.

Chico and his team were wonderful. We had to have two 40+ ft Red Oak trees taken down that had died. His quote came in much lower than every other arborist we called, and his price is by the hour. The job took less time than he quoted, by almost half, and he stuck to the per hour cost. He was professional, kind, quick, safe, and importantly his team worked great with him. I would highly recommend calling Chico, and plan to use him for our arborist needs going forward.

Chico & his team made this tree trimming business a breeze. I purchased a home with incredible trees, but they had long been neglected. Punctual, capable, considerate, & knowledgeable---Chico put my worries regarding oak wilt at ease. He even went above & beyond, by taking care of an existing brush pile. Chico was first to respond to my request and gave me straight forward information about the two trees I needed removed, as well as about a tree that could be a problem in the future due to some root rot. Came out a couple days later and got the trees down with no problems. Trees were hanging over my house so I was worried of collateral damage but not a scratch. Great experience.

Can't recommend this company enough! Had a nightmare scenario with a massive dead tree leaning over the house and power line. Other tree trimming services wanted an outrageous amount of money to back a crane truck into my backyard. Chico and company took it apart like Legos with no problem!

Chico was wonderful in removing a large diseased pecan tree that had fallen both in the street and in our yard. He was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend him and his crew. He gets the job done with a smile on his face and a very pleasant demeanor! Very professional!

Chico IS the man! He cares about the long term health of your tree as well as your home. There are many butchers out there that you need to be wary of, but this guy is all about doing it right! He understands organic treatments for pest problems, He understands how to tend to a tree like no other contractor I have ever used before. Trust this man with your job!

Working with Chico's TLC was a pleasure. They were quick to respond, gave us a great price, and did the work quickly and professionally. Chico was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to our trees. Our little live oak and giant pecan tree were completely overgrown, and now both look beautiful. Our live oak, especially, looks amazing after their work. It really opened up our yard and we're excited to enjoy its shade. Chico mentioned that he pays his team a living wage, which made me feel great about working with them. We'll definitely be using them again in the future.

We had a huge elm tree that had become a hazard. Chico was able to come the very next day and professionally remove the tree and grind the stump below ground. They did an awesome job and cleaned all the debris without damaging our lawn, and it was done at less than a third of the price that one of the other local tree services quoted. Chico gives you friendly personal service from someone that really cares about doing quality work!

I appreciated that we consulted first and made a clear plan for the work Chico's was going to do. When the crew arrived, they were on time, on task, and did a great job with everything from the climbing and cutting to clean-up and haul-off. This level of competence and service at such reasonable rates seems unheard of. I'll give them my business again and again.

My trees look awesome. Very professional, cleaned up all the mess, and even finished quicker than expected and adjusted the bill for the time not worked. A great team that I would highly recommend and I will definitely use in the future!

I highly recommend Chico to take care of your trees. He is very knowledgeable and dependable. He helped me out right after a big wind storm and saved my roof from some broke limbs. Im very grateful for his help with that!

We had a dead tree that needed to be removed, and trees throughout our property that could use some TLC, and Chico's Tree and Lawn Care took great care of us and our property! When Rafael Trujillo provided a quote, it was so much more than quote - he provided an education! It was immediately apparent that he knows what he's doing as we walked our property and considered each tree, and even more, that he has a passion for his work. His price for a 10-hour job was very fair, and the quality of work provided by this team was top-notch. Details like using a blower to clean off the driveway, the entire roof of our home, and our wooden deck in the back yard were details that did not go unnoticed. I think we found our permanent tree-care team! We're looking to have them back to do some additional lawn work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This company is the best!! I have had the pleasure to work with Chico’s Tree service several times. Each time is a great experience. Very friendly and professional. I will never call another company for tree service! Because I have found the best! Highly recommend Chico’s Tree and Lawn Care! If there would more stars than 5 I would use them!
